Eagles at Cowboys: Live updates, game stats, highlights for…

In their biggest game of the season, the Eagles experienced an utter disaster on their first two series on both sides of the ball, but thanks to two costly Cowboys penalties, they’ve gotten themselves right back into the game. On Sunday night, in a matchup between two 3-3 teams that both occupy the top spot in the NFC East, the Eagles fumbled twice on their first two possessions, which the Cowboys promptly turned into two touchdowns — one via Tavon Austin and the other coming from Ezekiel Elliott. Finally, on their third series, the Eagles woke up, but only after a roughing the passer penalty saved them from a three-and-out. Five plays and another 15-yard penalty later, the Eagles found the end zone when Carson Wentz connected with Dallas Goedert for a 28-yard touchdown that sliced the Cowboys’ advantage in half.

Below, we’ll be bringing you live updates and analysis as the action continues to unfold. After the game, this post will turn into a takeaways style recap, so be sure to check back later.
